What is Annual Giving at B’nai Israel?
In the spirit of tzedakah, the Hineini Annual Campaign is an opportunity for every member of B’nai Israel to provide a contribution that is allocated to this year’s current operating costs.
What Does My Annual Gift Support?
Your annual gift directly supports every aspect of our dynamic congregation. When you contribute to the Hineini Annual Campaign, you strengthen our vibrant community and enable us to reach our membership more effectively.
Why does B’nai Israel need my support?
B’nai Israel prides itself on a sound financial foundation. Simply put: membership dues, High Holy Day revenue, and school tuitions do not sustain all that we do. This year, roughly 10% of our $5 million budget is dependent on Annual Giving and/or other development fundraisers.
If I can only afford a small gift, will it make a difference?
Absolutely! Last year, gifts under $360 accounted for nearly 1/3 of our total campaign. Regardless of the size of your gift, your participation is extremely important. Your commitment has an immediate and direct impact on our community. We are asking each member of B’nai Israel make a meaningful contribution to the Hineini Annual Campaign by saying, “Hineini—Here I Am”!
