5:00 PM - 5:15 PMMATKON IM ZIKARON
Matkon Im Zikaron (A Recipe for Remembrance) commemorates fallen soldiers by cooking their favorite childhood dishes.
This year, B’nai Israel will participate in this emotional project to honor and remember those who have given their lives for the protection of Israel.
All cooking kits include the main ingredients (excluding salt, pepper, and oil), the recipe, and a biography of the fallen soldier, with tips for how to host a Matkon Im Zikaron evening with friends and family. Each kit costs $25 and serves 4 people. All proceeds will be donated to organizations that support lone soldiers serving in the Israel Defense Forces.
