Join us for a discussion on disability, leadership, and community building with Kalman Samuels, founder and president of the Shalva National Center in Israel, and author of Dreams Never Dreamed, which tells the story 
of how one family responded when disability knocked at their door and the world of hope they have created for thousands of people around the world through the Shalva organization in Israel.
Kalman Samuels, a Vancouver native currently residing in Jerusalem, is recipient of an Honorary Doctorate from Bar-Ilan University and tens of accolades for his contribution to Israeli society. Samuels is the founder and president of Shalva, an organization operating programs for thousands of people with disabilities and their families, as well as initiatives like the Shalva Band, with widespread global impact.
