The Men’s Club invites you to join our annual Sports Night. This year we are pleased to feature Johnny Holliday, Washington’s most versatile broadcaster. His face and voice are one of the most familiar in all of Washington and Baltimore Radio and Television with hundreds of commercials and narrations to his credit. He is now in his 40th year as the play-by-play voice of the University of Maryland. Children of all ages are welcome to join us for Sports Night. Bring your own snacks and drinks.

JOHNNY HOLLIDAY has broadcast more than 1,500 Terp’s football and basketball games, including 16 bowl games, 12 sweet sixteen’s, 2 final four’s, and Maryland’s National Championship win over Indiana in 2002. Dick Vitale named Johnny one of his Top 15 play-by-play voices in the nation. For 12 seasons Johnny hosted the Washington Nationals pre and post game shows on MASN. He previously hosted the Washington Senators pregame radio show with Ted Williams. Johnny still finds time to participate in a variety of charitable activities including Catholic Charities, Special Olympics, Georgetown Visitation, The Patricia Sullivan Benefit Dinner, and the Catholic Youth Organization. He hosts his own celebrity golf tournament to benefit The Youth Leadership Foundation which has raised over 1.5 Million dollars for scholarships for kids to attend high school and college.
