Supporting Children Through the Pandemic and Beyond with Dan Shapiro

Please join the Men’s Club and Sisterhood as we present, via Zoom, Dr. Dan Shapiro, a Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrician who created the parent training and support program, "The Parent Child Journey."  Dan sees children and consults with parents in his home office. He also observes children and collaborates with educators at dozens of area schools. He developed the Parent Child Journey and Excursions Programs, offering these behavior management training courses throughout Greater Washington and internationally online. He is the author of numerous articles and three books. Dr. Shapiro is a former B'nai Israel member.

This program is especially timely now as parents face the challenges of raising young children during the Corona Virus pandemic.  Given his expertise and the topic, this program is something which should be of interest to the entire B'nai community. The session can be of particular interest to parents of children in the Talmud Torah and Nursery School classes.
