Tikkun Leyl Shavuot: Signing Up for Torah
Thursday, May 28, 2020 • 5 Sivan 5780
7:00 PM - 11:55 PMWhy did we, the Jewish people, “sign up” to follow the Torah? For thousands of years we have survived thanks to our continuous engagement with Torah—sometimes fraught and sometimes joyful. Please enjoy watching and learning from these three pre-recorded Torah study videos, and then join us on Thursday night at 7:00 PM to discuss these topics and reflect on why you have “signed up for Torah.” (The Tikkun will begin with an introduction to this topic by Rabbi Mitchell Berkowitz, followed by breakout groups to explore each of the three topics below.)
Session #1: Alone or Together - Is this Quarantine good for the Jews? by Steve Kerbel

It has been the custom of our congregation to honor our 10th Grade Confirmation class on Shavuot. We will do that this year by sharing their presentations with the congregation in electronic formats. We look forward to honoring them and their commitment to continuing their Jewish education.
Sorry, Registration has ended.
