Manna High Holiday Food Drive
Past SessionsWednesday, October 5, 2022 • 10 Tishrei 5783 - 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Tuesday, October 4, 2022 • 9 Tishrei 5783 - 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM
“Is this not the fast I have chosen…to share your bread with the hungry?” (Isaiah 58:6–7)
Help us feed those in need this holiday season.
Bring non-perishable items to B’nai Israel on Erev Yom Kippur (October 4) or Yom Kippur (October 5). Donation bins will be located outside of Dweck Sanctuary and in Parking Lot A.
This special annual project is led by our teens with hopes to collect as much as we can each year. The items we collect are donated to Manna Food Center to help the people of Montgomery County.
Contact Mayer Adelberg, Director of Youth Engagement (240-221-2515) with questions.
In addition, monetary donations can be made to HIAS, Masorti, or Nourish Now in our collection boxes or online. The suggested donation is the money you would have spent on food during the Yom Kippur fast.
