Monday, January 21 – Morning minyan is at 9:00 AM and evening minyan is at 8:00 PM.
Date: Tuesday, January 22, 2019
Time: 9:30 am
Location: B'nai Israel Congregation
Address: 6301 Montrose Road, Rockville, MD 20852
We know that a disproportionate number of the 800,000 workers (plus contractors) are members of our community, and we empathize with the helplessness of the situation.
Hal Ossman will be hosting a get together with Rabbi Schnitzer for those affected by the government shutdown. There is no agenda for this gathering; it is just a chance for people who might otherwise be at work to spend some quality time with other members of the congregation. No advance registration is required to attend. And if the shutdown ends before 9:30 AM on Tuesday, the gathering will be cancelled (with great joy).
We are here to assist individuals who are affected in any way that we can. Please be in touch with any member of our clergy if you would like pastoral guidance, or if you just want to sit and chat.
Please know that your B’nai Israel community is here for inspiration and guidance – during a partial government shutdown and throughout the year.
