Thursday, January 9
12:00–2:00 PM

Melissa Landa is the founder of Alliance for Israel, which reflects the diversity of Israel, the Jewish people, and their allies. Together, they fight against the BDS campaign in their attempt to deny the Jewish people their indigenous roots and their right to self-determination in Israel.

MELISSA LANDA PH.D. has been addressing the tactics and goals of the BDS campaign for five years. She is the founder and director of the new anti-BDS organization, Alliance for Israel. The diverse leadership and membership of Alliance for Israel reflects Melissa’s teaching and research on anti-bias education. Melissa earned her B.A from Oberlin College, her M.A. from Tufts University, and her Ph.D. from the University of Maryland and is the author of two books, articles in peer-reviewed journals, and numerous op-eds.
