As we begin the new Torah cycle, contemplate the possibilities of the “new you” … spiritually at least. Explore the core elements of the traditional service through movement and mindfulness. Consider strategies for finding spiritual meaning and personal fulfillment through prayer and contemplation. Movement activities will be physically easy and relaxing. Dress is “Shabbat casual.”
VICKI BERMAN is a Certified Movement Analyst, trained in a comprehensive study of human movement. She is proud of her long affiliation with B’nai Israel, and is excited to work with Rabbi Safra in applying her extensive knowledge of movement to the rhythms and themes of the traditional service.
