This summer, B’nai Israel will host an “Open Beit Midrash,” a place for learners of all backgrounds to gather together and to learn with a chevruta (study partner). Each session will be led by one of our clergy. A Jewish text (in English) will be distributed along with guiding questions to help you dig deeper into the text as you read it with your chevruta. Afterwards we will gather for a discussion of the text, led by one of the clergy. If you have a chevruta in mind, call them up and ask them to reserve the dates as well. If you are looking for one, contact Rabbi Berkowitz (301-816-5575, mhberkowitz@bnaiisraelcong.org) or can just show up on a Tuesday night and he will find you a match or you can just show up on a Tuesday night and he will find you a match!
