Dr. Peggy K. Pearlstein has been an active member of B’nai Israel for more than three decades. This past winter, she traveled to Morocco with a group led by Rabbi Adam Wohlberg of Temple Sinai of Dresher, PA. During a nine-day trip, the participants toured Casablanca, Meknes, Fez, Rabat, Marrakech, and the middle Atlas Mountains. Peggy will share her experiences and what she learned about the Jews of Morocco, past and present.

Dr. Peggy K. Pearlstein is a native of Charleston, SC. As part of B’nai Israel’s 90th anniversary celebration she partnered with others to interview Rabbis Schnitzer, Safra, and Simon about their years serving the congregation. Peggy was a member of the Schnitzer Appreciation Event Committee. Most importantly, Peggy is the proud mother of three adult children and seven grandchildren.
