Schilit Nursery School
Full Day Options
Before Care
For families that require before school care we offer Before Care each day from 7:30–9:15 AM. This is a service to parents that have appointments, meetings, work, etc. For a reasonable fee children meet from 7:30–9:15 AM or a portion thereof. Children can be signed up for Before Care for the school year or it is offered at a drop-in daily rate.
Full Day Program
The school core day can be extended with either Children’s Choice Enrichment (12:30–2:00 PM) or the Full Day Program offered from 12:30–6:00 PM (5:30 PM on Friday) and on occasional school days off.
The Full Day Program includes art related projects, indoor/outdoor play, reading/literacy, quiet/nap time, daily snack, along with a wide-range of topics and enriching activities such as cooking and science. An “Afternoon Agenda” describing activities, reminders, and more will be available to the parents. We utilize the whole building including but not limited to Goodman Hall Indoor Playroom, Playground, Discovery Room, Movement Room and Library. Our Full Day staff are part of the BISNS staff; possessing educational requirements and completing Continuing Education training.

Children’s Choice
Children’s Choice is offered from 12:30–2:00 PM, Monday–Friday. Children participate in new endeavors such as science, movement, cooking, dramatics, puppetry, Tae Kwon Do, soccer, Hebrew language and storytelling, as well as having an opportunity to be with a new teacher and a group of multi-aged children working together. We offer three sessions of Children’s Choice during the school year.
