Young Adults Torah on Tap with Moishe House Georgetown
Thursday, Feb 2nd 7:30p to 9:00pJoin Rabbi Berkowitz, Uriel Lin, our congregational Shlicha, and other young adults to socialize and to take a deep dive into Jewish text. Just show up—drinks are on us. This event is open to all Jewish young professionals in the area ages 21–35.
Tu BiShvat Family Festival
Sunday, Feb 5th 9:30a to 12:15pParents and youth alike, are all invited to a festive morning of celebrating nature and the Jewish New Year of the Trees. Israeli Tu BiShvat seder, arts and crafts, and a lot of fun is promised!
B’nai Israel’s Youth Adloyada
Tuesday, Feb 28th 5:00p to 6:30p“Adloyada” is a humorous procession held in Israel on the Jewish holiday of Purim. In our version, we will learn about the simha of Purim and how it is expressed in Israel. We will also make Mishloach Manot to make others happy! *Please note that these activities are part of our Talmud Torah program on those days, and Talmud Torah students will participate. No registration is required.

Thursday, May 11th 6:30p to 8:00pTeens of B’nai Israel are invited to a special Lag BaOmer bonfire where we will learn about Bar Cochvah and the tradition of Lag BaOmer in Israel. S’mores and campfire stories included.

Sunday, May 28th 9:30a to 12:15pForget all you know about the holiday of Shavuot. Join us for a Shavuot carnival celebrated like the ones in the moshavim and kibbutzim of Israel!
