THANKSGIVING – Thursday, November 22 – Minyan is at 9:00 AM and 8:00 PM
Tamar was born in Be’er Sheva and has most recently lived in Jerusalem. Both of her parents made aliyah—her father from Australia and mother from South Africa. Tamar and her brother were both born and raised in Israel. After Tamar finished high school, she went into the pre-army program, Meitarim Lachish, where she volunteered, traveled through Israel, and studied Israeli politics, society, and history. Afterwards, she served as a sergeant in the Education Corps, working on a special program for troubled soldiers.
We are excited to welcome Tamar to our community. She will be working with our youth in Talmud Torah and as the Kadima advisor, as well as helping to lead special programs for our entire community.
