Tot Shabbat (Ages 5 and Under with Parent)
Shabbat Mornings, 11:00–11:45 AM
This service introduces our youngest children to the joys of Shabbat. The program, which combines singing, storytelling, and movement, is a great way for families to find a chevrah (a friendly community) at B’nai Israel. The Tot Shabbat listserv offers timely information about special events and services. To join, send an email to Arielle Katzel.

Mini Minyan (Grades K-2)
Shabbat Mornings, 10:30-11:45 AM
January 11, March 21, May 16
Using a siddur specially crafted for our students, children are encouraged to lead prayers and actively participate. The service generally concludes with a story or an abbreviated Torah service and parasha discussion. On weeks when Mini Minyan does not meet, students in this age group are encouraged to attend Junior Congregation.

Junior Congregation (Grades 3–6 when Mini Minyan meets, Grades K–6 when Mini Minyan does not meet)
Shabbat Mornings, 10:30–11:45 AM
This service, largely led by the children themselves, includes a short Torah discussion, game, or parasha play. Children from the Talmud Torah and the day schools are encouraged to read Torah and lead prayers together. Children are invited to attend this service with or without their parents.
New This Year! Selected Junior Congregations will be “Kids Club,” which means that they are for students only. Parents are invited to Dweck Sanctuary and all other activities that morning.

Teen Minyan
January 11, March 28, April 18, May 16
10:30-11:45 AM
This special service is led by and for teens. Join us for creative, interactive services, discussions, and unique parasha presentations designed around special themes. Want to lead a teen minyan? Contact Moshe Ben-Lev, Education Director.
