Maintaining a relationship with the Divine is not always an easy task. We have expectations for what we derive from a relationship, and we know that we must also invest ourselves in order for the relationship to grow and flourish. Anu Amekha is a short, yet powerful, piyyut (liturgical poem) from the Yom Kippur liturgy. Join me in exploring how it highlights the possibilities, and the challenges, for maintaining a relationship with God.
