High Holidays 2024
CELEBRATING ROSH HASHANAH & YOM KIPPUR
Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur are collectively known as the Yamim Nora’im (Days of Awe), the holiest days of the year. We welcome the new year with apples and honey, family togetherness, and hope for the days ahead. The sounds of the shofar remind us that forgiveness and change are both possible and necessary.
Online ticket registration for members has closed. To request seats, please email hhdseats@bnaiisraelcong.org.
If you are a nonmember and would like to join us for the High Holidays, welcome! You can click here for our Nonmember Ticketing Form.

YIZKOR MEMORIAL BOOK
Each year, B’nai Israel Congregation provides a Book of Memory for use at the Yizkor service on Yom Kippur, Shemini Atzeret, the eighth day of Pesah, and the second day of Shavuot. Including the names of our deceased loved ones in our Yizkor Memorial Book is a meaningful tribute to them and a tangible reflection of their impact on our lives. May the memory of our loved ones always be a blessing. Click here for the 2024/5785 Yizkor Book.
Holiday Flowers
Enhance your holiday table or send flowers to a family member or friend. A beautiful flower arrangement always complements a holiday table. Let B’nai Israel Sisterhood do the legwork so you have less to think of during your holiday preparations.
$70 for local delivery; $75 for out-of-area delivery
Click here to place your order before Friday, September 20.
Arrangements will arrive before Rosh Hashanah.

Israel Bonds
Every year at Kol Nidre, we invite you to support Israel by purchasing an Israel Bond. This year’s campaign theme, Rebuilding Together, underscores the collective responsibility we all feel in the aftermath of October 7. Your Bonds purchase belies your unwavering confidence in Israel’s brighter future and our resilience as a people during this stressful time of war.
You can participate by folding down a pledge card tab at Kol Nidre services, but you don’t have to wait. Click here to purchase a Bond online today. Be sure to acknowledge your connection to B’nai Israel to be credited towards the High Holiday Campaign. If you would like to speak with a Bonds representative, you can contact DC representative Adam Herman via email at Adam.Herman@IsraelBonds.com or call 240-479-7921.
Thank you to so many of our members who continually demonstrate their support of Israel through Israel Bonds.
