Talmud Torah Raffle
Talmud Torah Raffle
Thank you for registering for Lessans Talmud Torah for the 2024-2025 school year! Below are details about our 3 early registration raffle prizes!
Raffle Details
Grand Prize: Roundtrip flight to Israel up to $1,500
One lucky winner will be randomly selected to be reimbursed for a round-trip ticket to Israel, up to $1,500. The winner will be selected from those registered for the 2024-2025 school year of the Lessans Talmud Torah or Noar B'Yachad before 11:59PM on May 14, 2024. In order to receive the scholarship reimbursement, the family of the winner must be a member in good standing of B’nai Israel at the time of the award selection AND at the requested reimbursement. Amount may be requested for reimbursement until May 1, 2027. The ticket to Israel can be used for a family or peer trip. The trip must include TLV as a destination and origin, although layovers and multi-destinations are permitted. Original receipt of plane ticket must be presented and reimbursement is for UP TO $1,500. If the ticket is more than the prize amount, $1,500 will be reimbursed. If the ticket is less than $1,500, only the amount paid will be reimbursed. The winner will be contacted by B’nai Israel on May 15, 2024.
B’nai Israel is proud to offer this prize as a representation of our core value of travel to Israel. This grand prize is made possible by the Schnitzer Israel Scholarship Fund.
Should the recipient of Grand Prize so choose, they can exchange their prize for a $250 tuition discount from Lessans Talmud Torah for the 2024-2025 school year before Sept 1, 2024. They must remain a member in good standing of B’nai Israel during the 2024-2025 school year. Acceptance of the $250 tuition discounts disqualifies the winner from then also requesting the original roundtrip plane ticket reimbursement at any amount (see rules for second and third place prizes that would be extended to this grand prize).
Second and Third Place Prizes
Two additional lucky winners will be randomly selected to receive a $250 tuition scholarship each for the 2024-2025 Lessans Talmud Torah school year. The winners must be registered for the 2024-2025 school year before 11:59PM on May 14, 2024. The parents of the winners must be members in good standing of B’nai Isael in order to receive the $250 scholarship. The winners will be contacted by B’nai Israel on May 15, 2024.
These scholarships are made possible by the Segal Talmud Torah Endowment Fund.
