VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY
Join Jewish National Fund (JNF) January 21-25, 2024 in Israel for a volunteer trip and memorable experience!
Spend 4 days in Israel to help provide immediate relief, make a difference, and come away feeling the meaningful impact of your work.
Volunteering Highlights:
- Spend time with evacuees and the people who are providing lifesaving efforts to support them.
- Take part in community service helping with anything needed, from cooking to assistance in the daycares, laundry, or cleaning up.
- Work together with HaShomer HaChadash in farms, picking vegetables and other crops that will ensure that we will help prevent a massive shortage in the Israeli market and that no farmer is left alone.
- Volunteer with Sar-El at an army base, take on logistical roles necessary to fill the void of the over 350,000 Israelis serving in the IDF and reserves.

Enveloped in Light: A Hanukkah Tribute to the Israelis of the Gaza Envelope
In the spirit of Hanukkah, when we seek to illuminate the darkness with light, B’nai Israel will exhibit 8 beautiful pieces of art which reveal the beauty of the different communities in the Gaza Envelope (Otef Aza), the region around Gaza which includes many villages and kibbutzim that were directly impacted by the attacks of October 7.
B’nai Israel families are invited to be sponsors for selected pieces of artwork ($36 per sponsorship).
All proceeds will be donated to the Shoresh Fund to support the recovery of families impacted by the attacks. Learn more.
Orders are due on Thursday, December 7 at 11:59 PM.
Order pick-up is on Wednesday, December 13 from 2:00–4:00 PM, and 5:00–7:00 PM at Uriel's desk in the main office.
